So I'm Literally Writing Three Books a Year?

From scratch?!

Well, yes and no.
As I mentioned in my first post, I have TWENTY-EIGHT works in progress. And, frankly, that's a lot of unfinished projects. Way too much for my blood. Do I believe all of them are worth the effort of revising multiple times, promoting, and bringing to market? Not even close, but there are some MVPs in there. See my last post for a definition of that one. If inspiration strikes me and I just have to run with a new idea, then I need to respect my time and my commitment to this literary mission. Yes, I'm being extra and I don't care. You should be extra, too, it's the only way to pull this three books in one year goal.
For my personal 3B1Y challenge, I'll most likely be completing ideas that have already been fleshed out and have a running start (5K-20K words). Is that fair to the guy who is starting from scratch and doesn't even have a germ of an idea? This isn't a competition against each other, but a fight against all the things that keep us from producing work at a consistent basis: distractions, obligations, the little, annoying voice that tells us no one wants to read our rubbish.
So, by now I know you know exactly what time it is. It's time to get writing right now!
